My Recommendations for March 14th, 2015

Good morning folks! It’s supposed to be a lovely day to day and I can’t wait to take advantage of it! It’s not supposed to get very warm, only 60, but that’s good enough for me. With as cold and rainy as it’s been lately, this is a wonderful change. On a not so fun note, I cut my thumb yesterday trimming the fat off of a still partially frozen roast, so today, I’m rocking a neon green band-aid. It’s in the way of typing, but not too much trouble. Time to check out Amazon.com for some new Finds.

My Recommendations for March 13th, 2015

Good morning folks. It’s a rainy morning here in DFW. Supposed to rain off and on all day. This is actually a good thing, as Texas has been in a drought for quite some time. We’re already ahead for the year, so hopefully that trend continues. For any of you that are planning a garden this year, you’re in luck! Those of you that have to commute in this junk, eh, not so lucky. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. For now, let’s check out Amazon.com for our latest FreebieFinds.

My Recommendations for February 28th, 2015

Good morning folks! It’s the last day of February and boy what a ride it’s been! We’ve had 80 degree days and now there’s snow on the ground. Actually there’s a couple of inches of snow on the ground. My kiddo’s loved it though and that’s the part that really matters. Watching them play and run around in it made standing out in the freezing snow totally worth it. The laughter of a child is precious and I adore it. When we came in I made some hot cocoa and gave them each a bowl of Keilbasa Potato and Cabbage soup. Click HERE for the recipe. For now, lets check out Amazon.com and see if they have any more wintry inspiration.

Good morning folks. I sure hope y’all are looking at a beautiful day! Here it’s supposed to hit about 70!!! The kids are gonna LOVE it! The sun will be shinning, the birds will be chirping… gonna be a lovely day. I’m sure everyone has a ton of projects they’re gearing up to start. I know I have quite the list. If you haven’t already, check out fodder feeding for your chickens. I put together a little starter article on it, which you can find here. On that note, lets check out Amazon.com for some new inspiration.
