My Recommendations for March 31st, 2015

Good morning folks! Yet another lovely day in store for us here in DFW. It’s been so beautiful here lately. I really hope spring is here for good. This being Texas, I’m sure it is. Maybe this weekend I’ll head on over to the nursery and pick up all the stuff I want to grow this year. Who knows. Either way, it’s a beautiful spring day, and it’s time to get out there and get things done. On that note, it’s time to check out Amazon.com for more good finds.

My Recommendations for March 20th, 2015

Good morning folks! It’s supposed to be a fairly overcast day today, only getting up to 64. I know, I know, some of you are sitting there thinking “Did she just say ONLY????” Yup, sure did. This is Texas and it’s late March. Only 64 is about right. Anywho, so now that half of you are ready to come at me with flame throwers, I’d like to thank you all for allowing me a day off yesterday. I don’t get it often and I truly appreciate it when I do. I’d also like to thank you all for your kind words on the Facebook page. It’s appreciated beyond words. Ok now that I’ve taken us on an emotional roller coaster, let’s get on to the freebies from Amazon.com.

My Recommendations for March 3rd, 2015

Good morning folks! Yet another rainy and overcast day here in DFW, but good news! Looks like Thursday is going to be sunny and it should last the rest of the week. Whew! Glad to know the sun still does exist. Tomorrow, however, is supposed to be cold and rainy. Oh well.. it’s only one more day. One side benefit to all this rain though is that everything is looking beautiful with all the greenery around. Silver linings folks, silver linings. All this green is making me want to garden something fierce! Let’s check Amazon.com to see what inspiration they have for us today.

Good morning folks! Yesterday we hit a new record here at Homestead Your Head. We hit 2745 hits. That is insane! I’m so proud to be able to reach so many people with this information. You guys rock! Keep up the good work with sharing and spreading this knowledge around. I truly believe that being more proactive about where your food comes from is the best thing you can do for not only your family, but the planet as well. Prepping for disaster, famine, flood or even for a zombie apocalypse gives you the peace of mind to know that your family is safe and fed. You’re all amazing people. So, now that the mushy part is over, let’s check on Amazon.com today and see what new knowledge we can find.
