So I’ve been reading a lot about immune and metabolism boosters lately and I’ve decided to try a little concoction. I’m trying out my concoction in a half pint jar to start, and if it works I’ll make more next time. I filled the jar halfway with honey, then added about a 2 inch piece of ginger peeled and cut into slices. Then added a scant teaspoon of turmeric and filled it up the rest of the way with lemon juice. I microwaved the whole thing for a minute (you could probably skip this step, but it’s just what I did) and then stirred it up well, put a lid on it, then shook it for a bit to make sure it was well blended. I’m adding two or three teaspoons of the liquid to a large glass of cold water. It’s not half bad really. Makes drinking city water a tad more palatable. I’ll keep y’all posted to see if it helps with anything or if it’s just a yummy additive to my water.
